Therapeutic Walking

Walking and talking is such an ordinary, natural thing to do. For many people, it feels far less anxiety-provoking than sitting in a room face-to-face. Moving the body while taking in an expansive view can be deeply supportive—benefiting the mind, body, and Spirit.

I have found that meeting in this way can be especially helpful for those who want to explore current difficulties, but don’t necessarily feel they need the container of a traditional room-based setting.

At times, we may find ourselves grappling with a difficult decision, navigating a transition, feeling vulnerable in the face of uncertainty and divisiveness in the world, experiencing a relationship breakdown, or struggling with challenges at work.

These are some of the moments when independent, unbiased, and confidential support can make a real difference—offering space to speak your truth, voice your fears, and gently unpick what you’re thinking and feeling.

Therapeutic walking offers a grounded, supportive environment to do exactly that.

This service can include walks near the sea or in a park, in and around Hastings and Bexhill. The walks will usually be an hour long and where possible can be in a landscape of your choosing.

Please note: Therapeutic Walking is not suitable for anyone wanting to work with trauma or PTSD.
